14 Sep University of Belgrade teams among the 100 best in the global competition
Two teams from the University of Belgrade – Dr. Knight and Perun, placed among the 100 best in the global competition for university startup teams!
University Startup World Cup is a competition that brings together the best innovative teams from around the world, with the goal of networking, learning, sharing experiences, growing and gaining the opportunity to become the world’s best university startup.
The semi-final of the competition will take place at second half of October, and the grand final is expected at beginning of November. Both semi-final and the final will be conducted in the form of Pitch and Q&A.
We remind you, Dr. Knight is an innovation of the team from the Department of Organic Chemical Technology, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. Multifunctional laundry color catcher is efficient and practical, designed for multiple use that does not pollute the environment, biodegradable, very affordable and easy to use.
Perun team consists of students from the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, who are working on developing portable DNA recognition technology. This innovation enables the analysis of DNA samples outside the laboratory, which greatly increases the reliability of sampling and reduces time and costs.
