Start-ups: apply now to unlock your investment potential

Are you a start-up in the Western Balkans, looking for outside investment to help your company grow and achieve its full potential? Then read on, and sign up before the registration deadline of February 28th 2018.

The EU4TECH Western Balkans project is organising intensive investment readiness mentoring, followed by a pitching practice Bootcamp and an investment forum (Belgrade 25th April 2018).

This call is open to all start-ups irrespective of sector.

The Investment Readiness programme will match you with a mentor, who will support you to look at your business opportunity from the legal, financial and investor perspective, using a series of fundraising/ business development tools.

Mentors will come from the extensive international network of the project consortium partners: EY, MITO Technology and inno TSD. All mentors have an established track record in raising equity capital for their own successful ventures and cover an extensive range of sectors and business models.

Places are strictly limited and companies who successfully complete the Investment Readiness training and are deemed to be investment-ready will be invited to take part in a full day of pitching practice on 24th April, before presenting to an audience of appropriate investors who are looking for opportunities in this sector in Belgrade on 25 April 2018.

The Investment Readiness (IR) Programme will consist of:

  • March-April: Mentoring and IR workshops with international experts;
  • 24th April: Intensive pitching coaching – ‘Bootcamp’;
  • 25th April: An Investment Forum with pitching to investors from the EU and the region, and business networking.

The working language of the IR programme will be English.

The EU4TECH Western Balkans Investment Readiness training is aimed at existing and nascent start-ups from SR, AL, BiH, MK, ME. Participation in the Programme is free. Attendance is by application only and IR places are limited to 35 start-ups. The selection process will be conducted by an expert panel, and the final results will be communicated by e-mail.
