Serbia as an equal Technology Transfer partner during Euro-Asia Economic Forum in China

China, is taking a world market by the storm, technologies that are created in this country are both innovative and very profitable. Chinese companies are in the very top of the world when it comes to competitiveness. It is no wonder at all that representatives of various international companies, top universities and scientific and research centers, along with government ministries convened in China. Center for Technology Transfer of University of Belgrade also had its own representative at this prestigious forum.

This occasion served as a great opportunity for presenting innovative technologies created at University of Belgrade. Director of the Center, Mr.Nedeljko Milosavljević, established a firm ground for cooperation, with Chinese counterparts, as well as with potential Chinese investors and companies that are interested in future partnership with our researchers. Main goal of this activities is to promote innovations created at University level and their commercialization.

Three events held in two Chinese cities followed (The Belt and Road International Technology Transfer Cooperation and Matchmaking Conference; International Science and Technology Cooperation Strategy and Innovation Mapping; The Launching Ceremony of Qingdao Overseas Technology Transfer Demonstration Base), that ensured that technological breakthroughs from University of Belgrade were not only seen, but it also allowed the establishment of important contacts with the representatives of many international enterprises.

Dr. Milosavljević, participated in B2B events and panel discussions. Last but not least, Dr. Milosavljević held a presentation with special focus on how to finance future inovations. During the presenation itself Dr. Milosavljević expressed his belief that participants should turn to alternative sources in regards to their innovations. One such alternative was CrowdStream, a project that is actively conducted by the Centre for Technology Transfer. This project initiates changes in the financing market, it aims to ensure that innovative companies have access to qualitative alternative way of funding (crowdfunding).

Center used this series of events as a basis to expand its network of contacts. Those contacts will be invaluable to many researchers currently working at University of Belgrade.

All that is left is for researchers to show initiative in order to establish cooperation with companies and investors. We are waiting for you!
