If you are a scientist, innovator, part of a project scientific team, PhD student, or master’s student, with an innovative idea about a product/service in the field of healthcare, food industry, agriculture, raw materials, energy, urban mobility or production, which you want to take from the laboratory to the market – EIT Jumpstarter is the right program for you!
The EIT Jumpstarter program, characterized by a creative community, top knowledge and experience, and expert mentors, is jointly organized by EIT Health, EIT RawMaterials, EIT Food, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Manufacturing, and EIT Urban Mobility, and aims to create a sustainable impact in the Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, through encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship. EIT Jumpstarter helps innovators and entrepreneurs to build a sustainable business model, validate their innovative product/service, and if the business opportunity proves to be viable, the organizers help with the process of establishing the company.
Graduates have the knowledge and skills to start a company, they get to know potential partners, VC funds, regulatory bodies, companies, but also large innovation centers in Europe, which is extremely important for the process of entering the foreign market. As part of the Alumni community, graduates receive support from the EIT community and assistance in further development.
At the beginning of December, the final of the program for 2022 was held, within which, by the way, a record number of participants from the Western Balkans was recorded – 33 teams, of which 5 are from Serbia! Five teams were among the finalists, one of which was from Serbia, and overall a significant success was achieved for the innovative ecosystem of Serbia and the entire Western Balkans.
