26 Nov 15 innovative teams at Univerzum Bootcamp
Applications for the startup accelerator program Univerzum, which are jointly implemented by the University of Belgrade and the company Mozzart, ended on November 17. The organizers received a lot of innovative and creative ideas, and the 15 most innovative ones got the opportunity to enter the next phase of the program – Bootcamp!
Bootcamp is an intensive training that takes place at the Mona Plaza Hotel in Belgrade, from November 30 to December 2.
The teams that were given the opportunity to participate in Bootcamp are:
- iMo – an application for more accessible viewing of images and text for people with disabilities;
- Majstor – a digital platform for ordering master services;
- VALLTERA Technologies – system for more efficient data storage;
- Trex Serbia – an innovative hybrid vehicle;
- SportUp5 – application for connecting athletes with sports partners;
- Inclusio DOO – accessibility system for people with disabilities;
- Klik Cash – application for digital payment and ordering;
- EasyPass.rs – digital learning platform;
- Poduhvat Team – innovative and more efficient wind turbines;
- Čas posla – a platform for enhanced ordering of desired services;
- Pet Travel Advisor Solutions – pet accommodation search platform;
- Dragon in green technology – mechatronic smog elimination system;
- Perun lab – portable, stand-alone DNA amplification device;
- SOMA BioWorks – sustainable materials, products and technologies based on Fungi;
- C Technologies – AI online platform for the used car market.
Experienced mentors and guest lecturers will share with participants their previous experience and exchange significant knowledge, skills and tools regarding business planning and development. The last day of the program is reserved for pitch sessions, and the program organizers, together with mentors and representatives of the Ministry of Education, will select the 5 best teams entering the Accelerator phase.
The accelerator phase provides initial financial support, free use of coworking space in the center of Belgrade and top mentoring support. In this phase, the 5 best teams will develop their innovative business opportunities through joint activities and present it, at the very end of the program, to potential investors, which opens the way to the market, new partners and additional financial support.
